Hat tip to Out of the Cornfield for the picture.
There are some things I don't watch on T.V. My brother has been raving about HBO's The Wire for years. Most of those years I didn't get HBO so didn't watch it, and when I do have that service I wasn't all that impressed. I also don't watch Bill Moyer's Journal on PBS. I've always liked it, but I've never been a faithful viewer. I just read the entire transcript of Bill Moyer's interview with David Simon. It blew me away. From why the Drug war has always been a lost cause, the stupidity of school testing, why newspapers are folding, our economic collapse. Simon hits the nail on the head so often my mind is still reeling from it.
