Slip of the tongue
The new tea party backed governor of Oklahoma said in taking the oath of office that she would, "offend" the constitution instead of defend. She's blaming it on the cold weather and signed the document which is correctly worded, but Freudian slip or not it might be the only time while she's in office where she actually speaks the truth.

It's a pretty hilarious gaffe as it is, but even more so to then go "blaming it on the cold weather".
What the heck??? That's about the lamest excuse I could imagine.
