How the neocons and Republicans always mention this organization as if they were stepping into a steaming pile of dog mess.
Here's what the ACLU is doing right now to help out teenage girls and their parents from the incredible stupidity of a local prosecutor that has a bug up his ass and wants to brain wash these girls. You can read the entire story here.

It seems some young ladies had pictures taken of them around age 12-14. Most of the pictures were in bikinis or braziers, one is topless, but none were below the waist. This would normally fit the definition of child pornography and charges would be brought against the man who posted them on the web. But instead of doing the intellegent thing, instead this prosecutor is charging the girls, and threatening them with sex offender status which would include being forced to register as such for the rest of their lives. That's the stick, the carrot is that they can agree to probation, with random drug tests and attending a re-education class for 6 to 9 months.
I've always felt that the penal systems education programs were a complete and total waste of tax payer money. Driving school to lessen a traffic ticket, anger management classes for abusers, sensitivity training for harrassers, etc.
All pure garbage. Now we need to brainwash teenage girls into being stepford wives. Our tax dollars at work.
I would love for there to be a condition on law suits like this that when a public servant abuses his power and the courts find for the plaintiffs that the public servant gets fired.
