I was planning on having a nice little get together at a local restaurant to celebrate my retirement. Just found out the place I was planning on having it has closed. Now I need a place where we can all get together that isn't packed on a Friday afternoon. Not an easy thing to do. Any suggestions curmudgeons?

The only places I know are ones we've been to - Spinns, ONeills, Neds... and ones on Central near the University - which WILL be crowded and noisy on Fri evening.
