Old Man Resigns

He put up a hell of a fight, but Mubarak resigned. He tried to weasel his way out of doing it, but the military most likely didn't give him much of a choice. He didn't want to finish his reign like Sadat.
It will take some time for the dust to settle before seeing if there is true change in Egypt or another military leader takes over and it stays the same with just a different dictator in charge.

I do not think so.
This time might/will be different.
This started in Tunisia, but it will not stop in Egypt.
The other autocrats [puppets] in the region are not sleeping well.
The people in the streets of the other regimes are saying to themselves.

If in Egypt, then why not here.

And about time. Maybe it'll catch on here too.

It will, once the real pain begins.
The Austerity Americana that is coming might be the tipping point.
